Facebook Ad's

I never really looked at the ads on my facebook because they never interested me but now that I look at it I find it kind of creepy. One ad that really caught my eye was "Obtain your Visa Card Today." I feel like Facebook is stalking me cause I always access my bank account and gift card accounts online. I also do a lot of online shopping so I think they are trying to get me to spend more money! It didn't work, but I think its a great way to try.





Another ad I saw was one about the great Walmart. I just recently ordered me a new pair of glasses so I can see why this one popped up as well. All the ad says is "Like Walmart and lets save together." If I havent been to Walmarts website about 20 times already, then I would have viewed the site to see what they had to offer.


 Lastly, I seen the ad for "Make your home BEAUTIFUL." This is obviously for decorating new homes. I am not looking to get a house, but I have looked at apartments in Charlotte, NC.

Facebook ad's may or may not be effective. I think it's quite interesting to see ad's according to your interests on your homepage. It is a great way for small companies to expand and get well known.

    I always check my balances online too and i recently saw a add to tell me to get a new visa card. CRAZY! I Think facebook is really creepy if they can access what your looking up on google and send specific ads to you account... to me thats like stalking. I think its really weird!

    I had the same sense. Even my facebook page was not active, How would they reach what I am researching. I did not have time to get tinto my facebook in several weeks but yesterday when i opened my home page the ads were scary. All of them were related to what i was researching about. Ahh They might even read our messages as well :>/

    Thats crazy because I have the same things like everyday !!!!!! Visa cards, high heels, && beyonce ads !!!! Seriously I think it reads my mind !!!!!

    These kinds of things creep me out cuz I feel like they have to be able to access your browser history to get this information and thats REALLY creepy. I don;t want facebook knowing where I go online!
