10 things I hate about Facebook
1. Poking- is there really a need to poke me? You can simply write a comment because I will NOT poke you back you creep!!!
2. People who brag about how many friends they have on facebook. The more you have on facebook the less you have in real life!!
3. Gift sending- I do not want any food, hearts, lollipops, pillows, pets or anything else from you!
4. Old people on facebook- there should be an age limit... seriously!!!!
5. Signing onto facebook with no notifications ! - facebook is suppose to unbore you! you need notifications.
6. Spam- hackers just need a life!!!!
7. Picture shrinks- if you have to squint your eyes, tilt your head, and move really close to the screen to see the picture, it should NOT be there.
8. Relationship gossip- lets not even go there! People and there facebook officialness ! Like really? Are you that insecure about your relationship that you need it to be talked about on facbebook.
9. Farmville, fishville, catville, creepville... facebook is enough of a distraction why add games?
10. The creeps who post random messages on your wall..." hey ma" "You lookin' real fly shorty how you doin" ... THIS IS NOTTT MYSPACE!!!! We upgraded sheeshh!

ReplyDeletePoking I understand is a tad annoying, but I kind of think of it as a gesture that you're thinking of the person, I have def. deleted them though. As far as an age limit, I don't see a problem with older people, just don't friend them if you are worried about a creep fest! The amt of friends I too think is a little crazy! I had 700 and decided I was not actually friends with half and started periodically deleting "friends" and I am now at 390 because I started looking at my wall and chat window and asking myself if I cared enough to see their posts or chat them up. The friend list obsession I think is more dangerous than annoying and it ALSO causes drama because you have people there that do not have your best wishes in mind. Nice list though
1-4 I DEFINITELY HATE. 5 , I must say I never have that problem....I always have a notification, bc Im just that important. LOL. 6- I always get HACKED!!!...7-9 ARE JUST UGH....SOME PEOPLE DO "THE MOST".....AND 10- YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN FOR THAT PROBLEM. I MUST SAY THAT OVERALL, EVEN THOUGH THESE NEGATIVE THINGS WE PINPOINT ON FACEBOOK ARE REALLY ANNOYING, I REALLY CAN SAY THAT I CAN FIND MORE GOOD THINGS ABOUT FACEBOOK THAN BAD. THESE THINGS ARE PETTY, SO I' NOT TOO CONCERNED ABOUT THEM ALL THAT MUCH. THE FACT THAT I KNOW FACEBOOK HAS GOOD INTENTIONS, IS WHY I WILL CONTINUE TO USE FB UNTIL OTHERWISE NOTED. I REALLY LIKE FB AND ITS UNFORTUNATE THAT ALL OF THE DRAMA THAT COMES WITH IT HAS MANY PEOPLE TURNING THEIR HEADS UP TO IT. ;)

But I can't see you reverted back to MySpace, considering you upgraded to Twitter even though you don't get it yet haha (I will never get it). I agree about the colors though... It would be soo much fun if we could add color to facebook... It's too uniform now :/ but it is what we use so we have to weigh out the pros and cons.
